CULTURAL PROGRAMMING
& CREATIVE PLACEMAKING
As a curator and a cultural programming director, Taryn collaborates with artists, educators, experts and socially relevant organizations to enhance major exhibitions with immersive art education offerings and inclusive public programs. Regional identity, local individuals/families and visual arts are inextricably interwoven and reciprocal. It is essential to facilitate open opportunities for understanding, sharing and connection without any barriers to participation. In all of her curatorial projects, Taryn incorporates hands-on workshops, complementary lectures and panel discussions, and large-scale multidisciplinary events; many with a specific focus on celebrating youth, minorities, all sexual orientations and gender identities, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
